Speaking of homes . . . this ad from 1947 has some eye-openers! It's trying to get the Tualatin Valley in on the post-World War II building boom. What do you notice?
- “...homes to fit each man’s desire.”
- Only $3,500 for a used home.
- $50,000 for a palatial establishment (farm included).
- “Once you have shopped in the valley where there is no parking problem and no crowds you will think twice before you buck the crowds again!"
This is from the Beaverton Enterprise Friday, Feb, 21, 1947.
