I am trying to imagine the insurance implications of some of these inventions.

Adding a horse-head to a car so it doesn’t spook horses?!
Who knew that the same guy who patented the muffler in 1897 also tried to make a smoother car ride by making an eight wheeled car!
Or, a steam engine powered car — good for 30-50 miles– that could scald it’s passengers but could be filled up at a river or pond . . .
The amphibious Amphicar of 1961 . . . What a fun read!
