Having a daughter taking drivers ed has reminded me of a few helpful tips. Here they are:
- When stopping behind a vehicle, make sure you can see the bottom of that vehicle’s tires.
- Careful dodging an animal! Easy to lose control and hit something worse. Plus, the animal runs off. You’ll likely have an at-fault collision claim on your hands.
- Speeding when late isn’t worth it. If you need to go 5 miles and do average 5 miles per hour faster, you’ll only save about 1 minute.
Driving a car is truly amazing, even astounding, if you think about it. Take it seriously; enjoy it; get somewhere.
